The renovation work of the relocation project of Saudi Arabia's YAMAMA Cement Plant has entered the final stage, and the focus of work has shifted to transporting the renovated equipment to the new factory area of the YAMAMA Cement Plant.
The project department of our company undertook many main equipment for demolition and renovation in Section III. The characteristics of the equipment to be transported are: the rotary kiln cylinder and cement mill cylinder are large in size and heavy in mass, the cement mill cylinder has a diameter of 5.6 m and a weight of 240 tons, a total of 2 pieces. The rotary kiln cylinder has a diameter of 6.2 m, the heaviest is 120 tons, a total of 6 pieces. The roller press rollers and rotary kiln supporting rollers are small in size and heavy in mass. The roller press rollers weigh 80 tons, a total of 4 pieces, and the rotary kiln supporting rollers weigh 110 tons, a total of 6 pieces;
When dismantling the dust collector box, it was considered that it would be severely deformed after being disassembled, making installation difficult; the project department decided that all large dust collector boxes would be completely demolished. The dust collector box is large in size but light in weight. The box has a size of 10m ×4.3m×6.2m (L×W×H) and a weight of about 17t in total. The box is 21m ×4.3m×6.7m (L× W ×H) and a total of 45t in total; There are more than 40 pieces of other ultra-large pieces such as steel silo, reducer, large ash hopper, integral fan and transformer (20000KVA);
After many communications with the general contractor and the transportation company, it was finally agreed to determine the overall transportation of the dust collector box without the need to turn the box over and put it down for loading; when loading large parts, we actively cooperated with the equipment reinforcement and bundling plan proposed by the transportation company; Our professional lifting technology and active cooperation attitude ensured the smooth loading of large parts, and also won high recognition from the consulting and transportation company;
The first batch of ultra-large pieces (2 dust collector boxes, 1 cement mill cylinder, some steel silos and large ash buckets, etc.) have been successfully arrived and unloaded. The second batch of ultra-large pieces (6 dust collector boxes, 1 cement mill, steel silos and large ash buckets, etc.) have been successfully loaded and sealed and are on their way to the new factory;
Now YAMAMA Cement Factory requires us to complete the transportation of the remaining ultra-large items in three times. Subsequent transportation vehicles for large items will be increased to 17 vehicles. The pressure on loading and unloading large items in the project department will be very high; Chairman Mao Zedong once said: In times of difficulty, our comrades must see achievements, see the light, and improve our courage. Faced with pressure and difficulties, all staff of the project department thought together and made concerted efforts to summarize past experiences and lessons to ensure that the transportation of large equipment was completed smoothly and quickly.
