On August 7, the lifting work of the rotary kiln of the cement clinker production line of the CILU project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was completed on time and with high quality, winning great recognition from the owner and general contractor.
The hoisting work of rotary kiln is the key monitoring point of the project; the project is located in the relatively poor and backward Congo (DRC) in Africa. The industrial foundation is weak and there is no large-scale construction machinery. There is only one 70-ton crawler crane and one 50-ton truck crane on site. The crane cooperates with the hoisting operation, and the project is a new renovation project, and the on-site hoisting area is very small; The project department formulates the hoisting plan in detail based on the actual situation, convenes all construction personnel involved in the hoisting operation of the rotary kiln, puts forward all imaginable problems and situations that will occur during hoisting, discusses the hoisting plan together, and formulates solutions to emergency problems.; During the three-day lifting time, it is necessary to hoist 11 hooks, align six crossings in the air, fix three wheel belts and a large ring gear. Although the time is tight and the task is heavy, all the participating operators work together and cooperate perfectly to successfully complete the scheduled lifting work of this rotary kiln.
The owner, Heidelberg, is a world-renowned cement supplier, and its requirements for project quality and safety management are also very strict. When we completed the lifting operation of the rotary kiln on schedule with high quality and safety, Heidelberg project manager Vivek kept saying to us: Good job, very good, great; The successful completion of the lifting of the rotary kiln has once again won the company a hard-won honor.
